Great video, some huge tops for sure....which reminds me, a good while ago there was this long thread about some Big elms to be felled, it went on and on with lots of talk.

 

Cant remember who's or where the thread was....does anyone else remember? Did anything actually come of that job?

Haha I was just discussing this job the other day, ran some searches and couldnt even find if an application had been put in, which given the job, and the location would have aroused some interest in the local press. Strange.......:confused1:

They reckon it is the single most dangerous job on the planet...it certainly will be up there with the best of 'em i imagine....

There is a small media company in Ipswich that has made amongst others a dvd about the " fallers " and the associated operations in b.c.

Well worth a look if you should stumble across it...:thumbup1:

 

Did we all see the girls trying their hands at it on the tube a couple of weeks back....? i missed it but Im sure it would have made good television!!:001_tongue:
