hispidus, yes wait for it.....

 

Hi Hama,

Hispidus at that level, although I have seen it at 2m.

I probably should have added these.

1. School premises lots of little targets.

2. Over lifted approx 7m.

3. Many historic pruning wounds, with what looks like associated canker, prob hispidus.

This was a cursory glance, I,d been called to look at a different tree.

I,ll go back on wed. and do a proper survey.

I must be missing something. Why do you point the finger at Hispidus, hama? I cant see any bracket in the pics.

 

no i was just "hazarding" a guess at what was to follow after the title and whoops that didnt come out as it supposed to!

as for the immediate fell proposals, the tree has been reduced in the past and taken a lot of pressure of this not so bad looking union, similar repeat would be fine IMO. ash do tend to fuse better than most.
