Entec????????

Im looking into buying a chipper, probably a timberwolf 150DHB. Since ive started looking there seem to a few timberwolf Entec available. So what im asking is are they good machines. I dont want to get sucked in by the cheaper price and regret it later.

Entec and TW are one and the same.

entecs will be so old i doubt worth bothering with, they went to timberwolfs a long while ago

I have a entec made in 2000

 

almost identical to a TW

We had an entec 6'' 98model was a cracking machine done 8,000 hours went through 3 hour clocks and the engine never missed a beat, sold it a couple of months ago to a dealer for £2,250 and bought a TW 150 DHB great machines just let down by not being able to grease the main bearings.

great machines.

Ran a 2 year old 150 and a 2001 entec side by side for a few months and must say i prefered the entec.

just seemed less fussy.

think it had about 1400 hours on it when i sold it.

 

As with anything buy thhe best you can afford - dont worry about age just look at condition

Mines got 800 hours on it and the retro fit HS controls for the rollers, came from Orange plant approx 2 years ago
