Had nothing important to do today, so i cut up an old horse box, floor was rotton. so cut the top off and removed the floor, started to weld some steel on to it, to make a trailer for running timber from my woods back to our yard, got a low center of gravity and 4 wheel brakes, so should carry a good load behind a 4x4. will finish of the fabrication work tomorrow and free the brakes off and friday a coat off Cat yellow, total cost not including my time £170:thumbup:

looks really good - what size wheels/tyres does it use?

I've been thinking of doing the same with a sankey, but the road legal load weight must be much better on a horsebox,I was a bit nervous about only having the one axle anyway!

Cheers

Steve
