I got an Ultra sound on my heart and vitals today and an ECG, a full bill of health, I was seen within 5 mins and was treated like a king and put at ease by 3 VERY professional members of staff from the NHS, my kids go to school and come home smiling with new skills and experiences, all for a few grand tax a year. :)

Here in Frenchy-land...

I pay approx 60% of profit in tax and social charges.

I do compensate with cash jobs but it still smarts.

In return, I put myself on the social housing register and within 9 months got offered a new build eco flat in town.

Guess it is all swings and roundabouts...

very different here

I needed a scan on my knee and was told 2 months

Asked to go private and got a phone call the next day calling me in the following day

Maybe I'm unlucky with this one

The heart is considered vital -- the knees less so. Maybe that's the reason?

Best wishes,

John Russell

Maybe too many people are evading their tax responsibilities?

Best wishes,

Evading tax responsibilities is something a working person may do.

Freeloading however, is someting a person does if he doesnt work.

Two totally different beings IMO:sneaky2:
