Sweet josh nice work.

 

Why did you use the crane just for the trunk and not the whole tree?Cost thing?

the crane was only ordered for tuesday for the bigger tree (i'll finish the video tonight) so monday morning we rigged out this smaller tree, and tuesday morning lifted the stem, before moving round to crane fell the whole of the bigger tree

 

Well performed Josh, sad to see the trees go in that garden...

Props to the groundcrew! Some nice running of the timber there especially top roping those vertical pieces I like to have them bits run away from me like that less chance of them swinging back and hitting me.

Mondays elm, took it down in a few hours ready for the crane to lift the stem tues morning, then took down a much larger (36ft/118ft) elm tuesday with the crane, video to follow in next few days

 

butt weighed over 3ton
