Washing line pulley? Could of been stuck in the wood, lucky you didn't cut through it :thumbup1:

 

I know what tree it came from, rest assured I cut plenty of metal in it, even if this escaped my saw :banghead::(

No gas here Jon. Only logs and mostly from trees I planted.

I have to admit to a smidge of wind blown Ash in the pile that wasn't planted by me.

I think the Willow is kicking out more than the Ash.

Hi PEA I love beech and well seasoned oak the thing is with ash there's no ash to give out the heat not like beech oak thanks Jon

had my fire going on and off for a few weeks now and funnily enough i have a washing line pulley too :argh: but was lucky missed it with the chainsaw but the log splitter found it
