Ok, just seeing if this was a genuine request for help or a fishing expedition.... :001_smile:

How long does it normally take you to do one tree of this size with your resources?

If your gonna do the same way as you usually do it, then multiply that by 30.

If your gonna do it differently, work out the costs and time and go from there.

We have done jobs like that in a day, we have done jobs like that in a week.

It all depends on the cicumstances.

Price wise? Same as 18 Stoner, plus vat. :001_smile:

Well good luck- let us know how you got on

I think it's best to work out your minimum cost then up it by a percentage that depends on gut instinct and customer relationship.

And obviously the big one- 'how much you need the work'

And as someone said earlier- being ballsey:001_smile:

What would you charge for just doing 1 ? I have looked at jobs this way in the past and then worked from there.

I have a price in on felling 40 conifers for £1200 with the waste being stacked up for the owner to burn, the nearest other price was £3000 and that was for removing all the waste, its not only the price that gets the job but also the plan of attack

Thats so true

You need to assess the situation and quote with this in mind.

Some customers don't understand the cost of removing waste and are quite happy to have a burn up after you have left. Specially if it saves a bit of money

So long as they don't start burning while I am working- can't stand smoke in the air

Dont get peed off with people giving you sarcastic answers mate- in my opinion you have got some real cheek asking other people to price your work for you, especially when its a p1ss easy job like you have described, and described poorly at that! TBH it really pee's me off when this happens. Learn the hard way like the rest of us. You know what you need to survive on (rent, bills etc) how much your insurance, wages and kit are going to cost you, so work it out from there istead of asking (IMO) out of order questions on here and getting the hump when people are a bit sarcastic.

Sorry if that offends, but there you are.

The reason the "bigger boys" are more expensive is that they know what they are doing!

Let that be a guide to you, no reason to learn the hard way, learn from them and price accordingly. Put some pics up if you want us bigger boys to help out. Lol
