I'm not a mousse fan myself, but horses for courses, mostly I just carry a spare tube & some levers & spanners, all wrapped & strapped out the way, but I mostly do green lanes & the odd trip to the welsh mountains etc, were I competing regularly I would use them.

 

Stevie, if you get stuck pm me the tyre sizes on your tyre walls & I will get some super duper tubes your way, any old biker will fit them for a couple of tins of beer.

Thought I'd show a few of mine...

 

Been involved with bikes since I was tiny, ridden trials, enduro, motocross and some road racing stuff over the years. Worked for Kawasaki's BSB team running around all over the country, ran my own off road bike shop and still dabble in a few bits now.

 

 

I still have plenty of contacts in the bike world so anything you guys need, gimme a shout as I can usually get some pretty good prices on bits :-)

Ive recently moved from trials to enduro, nothing serious or racing, mainly gathering sheep to help a friend out, wet moorland and plenty of hills, ditches and streams.

Finally getting my confidence up and enjoying having a seat!

Whatever you do never be tempted to try an AC10 on the front. The most useless washing out tyre ever made!

 

I'm using Tubliss system on the front at the moment. With the reduced weight compared to heavy tube or mousse the front end is transformed. Had a spell on tennis balls but never again.

Metzeler Six Days is a good front tyre while it lasts. Should be renamed six hours as that's about the time it takes to rip the side lugs off:001_smile:
