might of posted these before but its that time of year so i thought id put some new ones up, living on the mulch at the base of oak and liquidamber. they absolutely stink....

not sure about the whole of nz but it is around auckland parks around this time of year. always living on the mulch, normally at the base of oak trees.and your boots whilst climbing:(

Would be very interesting to find out how it's spread here.

 

Not out of the realms of reality to think of natural spore dispersal up in the stratosphere.

 

But more than likely some unhygenic kiwi arb plying his trade around the globe.
