How many of us live in the countryside, and how many of us are townies? I lived in a town for a few years and hated it, but have always lived in the middle of nowhere other than that. Who else?

The poll question should have finished as '....dont count as countryside'

Grew up in the country, spent most of my life in the country(different counties), love the countryside/rural living, ironically currently living on the edge of town, very unsettling and boy do I hate having neighbours.

I'm truly an anti social old git:lol:

i live in the farm house my dad was born in, my nearest neighbourgh is 1/4 mile away just the way i like it. its quiet and apart from being very open to the elements i couldnt see my sen in a town unless i was forced.

Me too  (just not old yet)

Sounds just like life in our village with all those who like to commute into York/leeds every day, or those that have retired into the village but liek to say they live in the countryside - we're looking to go more remote at the mo.

Voted now Tom :thumbup1:

i will always be a country lad after living in a backward village for 20 years!

i'm enjoying being young & living in the centre of a big town at the moment (it's great stumbling home after a night out, rather than £20+ for a taxi! - oh and the pub 20 yards from my doorstep has a cider festival at the moment, bye bye :001_tt2:)

So how come there is only 1 vote for town, yet several have said they live in town at the mo:confused1:

If you live in town, now, vote town:biggrin:
