Ive found a similar fault on a big old beech tree,, theres a tel wire just about touching it and another inline with the way it would fall,,, the branch is about 20 inch and has cracked on the bend were it shoots up about 40 feet,,

first question asked about prices ,, i just sent £234 out this week for them to come and drop the line 100yards up drive for 2 hours ,, its single line to the house that needs dropped , ive been told the price depends on number of house holds on the line to be dropped ,,

im still waiting for a date for them to come ,, but there only on 3 day weeks due to holidays etc,, im hoping to send the agent some pictures of the cracked limb and theyll drop the lines at the cracked branch while there here ,hopefully no extra money , i dont climb but do know a surgeon ive used before ,,

i would put some pictures on here but the loading aint the same as ebay

Thats answered all the questions then! No it doesn't matter about any TPO and yes you will have to call the phone company.

Or at least the tree owner will (or those who's line is broken) don't get involved with it.
