Carved Yew Bench

This Yew was uprooted in the same 07 gales as the shell Yew, as it fell across the woodland path it was cleared up the same year and the severed trunk has lain there since.

Following a little project to return the base stones of an umbrello seat to there original historical location, which is practically right next to the fallen yew it made sense to try and carve a bench/seat to complete it. It’s biggest and heaviest carving ive done so far.
