Hi ya chaps

got an ongoing issue that I need a pointer with

Definition of emergency works

is there a proven case defining, such circumstances that, are highlighted when emergency tree works can be undertaken within the context of a conservation areaa or Tpo

As my understanding

reasons for emergency works

that life or property are imminentley at risk !

that due to health & safety implications it is not save to leave the tree in its current condition !

& that none of the above can be mitigated by any other means ! to allow for the normal cause of planning as laid down within the act

Pointers must welcomed

Thats my understanding or interpretation.

Ie: Storm damage or huge hanger, split branches overhanging targets.

Any phone call like "I think the tree is going to fall over any minute" is enough for me to hit the imaginary "Emergency rate meter" that is mounted on the dash of the Unimog.

None have fallen over before we have got there.Ever.

that would be mine as well along with trees moving on root plates and already fallen debris....
