My cousin is on boat number 4 at the moment called Pugwash 4. We normally go for Bass and Makerel but also do the odd bit of wreck fishing for Pollock, Haddock and the ocassional Wrass and Eel. We take a back up boat which is only an ex RNLI RIB that we inflate when we get out there and drag it behind Pugwash 4 incase we have any problems. Pugwash 4 has one 700 bhp engine and is jet powered. The RIB has two 225 bhp outboards. When i am out fishing i shall get a picture of both boats.

Shame you don,t do it anymore G.K you are not that old are you?:001_huh:

You are only as old as you feel Silky. I feel like 18 but inreality am 56.

You have to come off the RIBs at 50 as lifeboat policy says your body can't take the pounding anymore. Rules is Rules.

Always wanted to be a volunteer RNLI member. Think I might pop down there next chance I get. Looked into the fire service but don't think I could have the mental capabilities for some of the ostuff they have to do.

I love the water and with size 13 feet I can swim.

Pipe and slippers for you then G.K:001_tongue: Only kidding:biggrin: My hats of to any bloke who,s put his own life on the line to save others...especialy on the cruel sea...

I only got involved because I designed the beach recovery tractor and trailer.

I have not got any pictures left of the tractor trial which is a shame because it involved me driving the tractor underwater with only 6" of cab showing:lol:

Joined the crew as tractor driver and trained others to get wet, then progressed to 2nd cox on the boat.
