Ifor TT85 Tipper slow on the way down!

Been moving stuff around with it today so decided to put in half way up then lower it, raise/lower etc for maybe 10 times with a full load. Still not made any difference. Double checked all the obvious bits too. However.....It does judder really quickly on the way down (nothing too extreme but enough to hear it).

 

Any Ideas????

Do all the IW trailers have the double press for quick lowering cuz I can't make mine do that I just manually turn the valve and get on with other jobs while it lowers down. Some people have a health and safety issue with this I do not.

Hi I ha e a problem at moment with remote control. I have to press the up and down buttons at the same time to get trailer back down. Recently just bought  it from a guy who didn't really know why .

Does it have a manual valve to lower?

I'd say either bad wiring or just a safety "feature". Maybe worth checking how old the trailer is beforehand.

 

If it's a feature, atleast it can't just be i accidentally press the down button and crushed someone.

Is there not a safety check valve in the ram connection, that prevents an uncontrolled drop if the pipe gets cut or ripped off ? Toggling the two switches is probably fooling this action.  I don't know ifor tippers have this but seen it on agricultural grain trailers etc.

Sorry , cut myself off there..... perhaps this valve is partially blocked?
