when living in melbourne i got a red hook given to me and it is brilliant find a supplier over there and ask about it it is just a bent piece of metal that was invented by a local climbier and is a good bit of gear never failed and has no stupid clip. simples.

the new husqvarna t 540 is coming with a quick release second eye so you can remove from one of these hooks with one hand. very snassy.

 

I don't get it mate? I never use 2 hands to release a 200 from a Caritool.

I've tried very hard, if you clip it behind the D ring it slides about and then clips it self round the whole gubbins, so now i just use it on the ring on my saw strop and then on to what ever ma jig

I remember the small ones were a pig to get on, but brute force overcame the problem! I sold the harness to a mate, but will try and get a pic when I see him next. Seem to remember having to clip over a double thickness of webbing?

I thought the Caritool was going to be the thing of my dreams but it don;t fit on a Komet Harness

 

i have one on my komet it fitted no problems.
