I've had it happen a few times. Ive even been wearing the visor and goggles and the damn twigs still get in and give you a quick whip. Last time i had to go to hospital to have my eye looked at i had a burning bramble let go as we were turning it in. It slapped me in the left eye and scratched the cornea. Was extremely painful for a week and then just felt like i had grit in there for another 2 weeks.

Just after xmas a lad swished some ash brush by me just as ide taken my helmet off for a breather.Turned round to get a facefull of it - thought for a few seconds that he'd blinded me.Eye filled with blood imediatly but after of lot of water and effort the blood slowed.Went to doc that night for ointment and opinion, and it took a week or more to clear.Just the very time i wasn't wearing my specs or helmet.

I hate it aswell when you have the smallest peice of saw chip go into your eye and it feels like half a tree is in there. We always keep our eye wash bottles kept in check in our first aid kits. We have 2 per van (one box, one bum bag). They both have 5 10ml eye wash bottles in and a big bag of saline in each too. It has come in very handy but it dont half smart as its salt water.

Sights fine thankfully !

Eyes do hurt when scratched lol

It happened Thursday still a bit sore,

Having a bit of my eyeball flapping was a bit

Concerning though to say the least.

They would have done me much good though !

Good luck with them though ;-)
