It also doesn’t say much for someone who can’t navigate their way through a few tabs. The link won’t work because of the way the website works.

Click on working for fountains

Click on job vacancies

Fill in the boxes and click search (leave the boxes blank to see all vacancies)

Well mate if you do that it only comes with jobs in the east of England and London... But the threat says recruiting all over the UK so you have to send the CV through the link in the website which does not work...

Well mate let me help you with that

The address you need is

[email protected]

The link isn’t broken, I just tried it. The website is set to use microshite outlook, if you aren’t using that it can cause problems.

Start whatever mail client you are using and paste the address into the to line, type a cover, attach your CV and press send

That concludes this part of your initiative test, how do you think you did?:confused1:

to put it bluntly chaps , Fountains have come on here to let anyone know thats looking for a job that they are taking on , every big firm has its problems and to be honest so do some small firms and that includes me , im sure tht there will be guys that are in need for work to pay the bills that will be keen to apply so why not keep it simply to a thread ofering possible employment rather than a less positive outlook to fountains .But this is only me personal opinion

Yes Fountains have come on here to let people know that they are taking on, and yes if people need to work to pay the bills they will apply for the jobs, the only thing is if they dont get paid at the end of the week, month, 30days,90days, they won't be paying any bills or putting food on the table either.

Two things for what it's worth. The guy or girl who has started the thread regarding the recruitment might have absolutely no idea about issues with accounts and has just been asked to put the word out so all this might be some what of a rapid learning curve for them. I just wonder if the gripes should be kept to a seperate thread even though I have more than every sympathy for those who don't get their accounts paid on time or full stop. Second; not all of us are really computer literate and only just get by so some of those struggling with getting CV's through might just need pointing in the right direction rather than having sarcasm directed at them. Isn't this what someone was on about recently? Treating people with a modicum of respect?

The responses in this thread are an embarrassment to Arbtalk.

If you want to apply for the job, then apply for it. If that means picking up the phone to ring the employer to ask for an email address to send your CV to then do that.

Everyone has opinions about companies and other traders - these can be discussed in private. A thread offering jobs is not the place to air grievances.

If threads like this put off prospective employers from advertising jobs, all users of the forum lose out.
