In a dishwasher i would looking for speed and care of my dishes, so i would go for an Eastern European model but there is strong competition form the far east as far Thailand's concerned.

All joking aside i have a smeg and it seems to clean the dishes when it wants and other times not so good.

All depends what way you stack the dishes i think.

Miele or Bosch.

My Miele's very quiet and dishes always come out clean and shiny. Timer programme is great as you can run it through the night on the off-peak rate. The cutlery drawer was a strange concept at first, but I'm now a cutlery drawer convert. Much easier to empty than the cutlery baskets and if you load your cutlery in the dishwasher drawer in an organised fashion, ie all teaspoons together, knives together, forks together etc., you can really speed up the emptying process...just wham all the teaspoons in the teaspoon section of your cutlery drawer, knives in the knife section, forks in fork section! :thumbup1:

Bosch has never let me down either and the layout is perhaps slightly better than the Miele for loading up large amounts.

Maybe also look at the Fisher & Paykel dish drawers. They are pretty cool. You can have one running a programme with the other one still accepting dirty dishes.

:)

Ooooops, just read that you've already made your choice.....good luck with your new Kenwood :)
