Evening, another little pro vid of a small wire clearance :P

 

 

If you feel like subscribing to out channel appreciate it will be loading up some great vids more regular when we get the decent trees in with rigging etc.

 

Run youtube in 1080p for best quality !

End result looked very good considering the awkward shape of the tree but i was using my go pro so no picture unfortunately.

 

Yep the stein bollard is a great bit of kit without the crazy high price of a hobbs or grcs as good as they are :biggrin:

Yeah, reduction or pollard? Looks very hard and heavy for a reduction. Even if it was the maximum percentage.

tbh I was practicing :) that cut that was the only reason plus I like how the tooth part stops the tree falling backwards

 

You got the tree over fine - good job

 

A conventional fell shouldnt make the tree fall backwards providing your got sink cut and hinge are good -

 

on a big trunk with a conventional fell, I often use wedges too which often helps alot
