Religion is a dangerous virus that parents infect their children with. I was infected, but fortunately found the cure, I often tell my children how lucky they are that I have not infected them.

I was a Jehovah's Witness.

 

Lee, my parents are good people and more than capable of bringing me up well without the aid of their imaginary friend. I wish they had had the strength and courage to follow there own morals and good sense, as I try too with my children.

 

If my any of my children wish to follow a faith thats fine, but I doubt that will happen, they are all pretty smart.

Intrestingly part of being or becoming a Christian is realising you are no better than anyone else in terms of morals ect...infact its on realising how bad you are that gives you the desire to be forgiven

Forgiven for 'sins' that are made up by religion in order for those same people to blag you into believeing that you are a sinner in the first place!
