Willow dismantle

Today I started a three day job, removing a willow from a back garden.

It was a fun GRCS day. The centre of the tree was useless for anchor points due to size and decay damage and so the tree became a goblet.

Lots of targets but simple enough to tip tie and winch the leads over. I added extra friction to some pieces to catch the butt end.

I was aware of the strength of my main rigging point so lowered the block more than usual (thanks Reg!).

Hopefully the rain will hold and I'll get more photos tomorrow.

I look ridiculous with that rolly hanging out of my mouth in the last shot!:001_smile:
