Notts City Council ran a combo like that some years ago and may do still. But consider this - as a mewp the RFL is low because it is a specialist use vehicle. To carry chip you'll be on a commercial vehicle RFL and due to the axle loadings, your capacity will be pants!

a dealer i use in cambridge had six daf mewp's with chip boxes that belonged to fountains very nice looking but with all the weight it was 1/2 ton over on front axle and over a ton on rear empty so could not be used.

i agree with lee not really worth doing

see two mogs in winchester other week with front mount chippers, small chip boxes and mewp on board?? dont ask what models as i couldnt see, but they certainly looked handy.

It was just a thought as im running an Iveco MEWP and transit up to Yorkshire everyday from East Midlands on an LV contract
