yes there are plenty of tpo's and conservation areas and planning clauses in the areas i work Matty. I let someone else do the work and if the customer gets the approval they can then choose me to do their work if they want, if not, no biggy. Business is business.

I don't take family morals into business any more, you will just leave yourself wide open for resentment and anger imo.

You don't operate sly like that if you've got any pride!

So it's alright to leave someone else without a roof over their head and a starving family?

If twas me and somebody was trying to take the money off of my table like that I'd be seeing him down his local on a friday for a quiet word.

Shame on YOU, shame on YOU.

Shame on me??

what for, putting a hypothetical scenarios on the forum :confused1:

And yes i would look after mine if it hit the fan, its there job to look after there family.

i know exactley how your feeling my friend. The area i live / work in is 99.9% conservation. I dont mind filling forms out etc, but it makes me smile when '' other companies'' or a 1 man band try and snuggle in. Ive been lucky as my customers are pleased with the professionalism and high standard of work i produce. A customer of mine asked to see his E.L. & P.A. & accident cover insurance and funny enough didnt return!

Hence why they know what they are getting, a phone call woudn't hurt though mate. It doesnt help when the local area newspaper publishes them all the time!

I see !! Had this completely ignorant idea it's only middle England that's covered by all this... And the Scottish high lands it's cut what want....still it's not hard to fill a form out but if they can see there is an agent who is another tree company, think it's out of order as I have said 3 times already!!
