I use op but it's started to herniate at the d ring. The core has started popping through the cover.

Bob, I was told that the bridge is made from dual core polyester/dyneema with a polyester sheath, wouldn't an equivalent rope be OK?

 

The rope is specially designed and made just for the bridge.

Also not many ropes of that diameter actually come in over 22kn.

Also issues re loler and all that jazz.

which rope do you know of that is made to the same spec.?

But at around a tenner for the correct one why bother risking it.

If any rope would do they would just fit any and not bother supplying replacements.

If I had spent over £300 inc vat on a harness i would not have an issue replacing with a genuine bridge:confused1:

Thanks Bob, I was thinking out loud as I know some people replace the bridge as we have read, with different rope, I don't know of another rope that's the same spec and I would, if needed, replace the bridge with an original item although the one on mine shows little sign of wear really, maybe I should climb a little more. Can you tell me the name of the rope?

Its called Treemotion bridge rope and it comes in green and short lenghts:blushing:available from most arb suppliers:thumbup:
