I changed to kumos after BFG MT, they only lasted a week before I sold em and got a set of BFG MT again, far better in the mud for grip on my 130 crewcab tipper, the best tires I have had.

I run 285/75/16. The best price i have found in the country is at W A Allen and son near st austell...better even than southam tyres who are meant to be the importers. You could try Protyre outlets.

285s do drag a bit and you are about 10% out on the speedo, but i love 'em.

235/85R16 is the best comprimise between float and bite and if your XZL's are 750R16 are correct for your speedo. :thumbup1:

But what rims do you have ? - 5.5" is standard but are not recommended for 235's - heavy duty rims are usually 6.5" and will be fine as will 7" steel or alloy rims. :thumbup1:
