Wind her up on the starter handle (Ice cold in Alex style). It would give you a good excuse to stop in the pub on the way home and down a pint of Carlsberg :thumbup1:

haha, so are you saying to put the boards on the roof rack and drive across under them, or to put the boards down and reverse over them??:001_huh:

 

i like the boards idea, when in place so the chipper dont move, befor un hitching, take the jocky wheel out and knock a short scaffold pole into the ground then use the clamp of the jocky wheel to hold it to it.

when i was working for a static caravan guy we used 1" 8x4s sawn length ways down the middle and used some blue poly prop as handles ! great as sites didnt like you tearing up there grass between vans ! lol

I use a 1.4m steel corkscrew I found on ebay for £50. It's a solid construction about an inch thick, the guy I bought it off had it specially made at great expense allegedly, to hold down hot air balloons Have winched some pretty hefty lumps around off of it.
