fair enough,

its a small block of clear fell on pretty steep ground, just to cut and sned i was looking around 83p per stump

83p seams a little on the cheap side, bearing in mind if it is on a steep site you are going to be working at a slower rate, and given that fuel has rocketed up, you will probably be going through 5l of fuel, plus transport to get to the site. If you fell and sned 100 trees then you will only get £83 !

Don't sell yourself too cheaply. :thumbup1:

Seems cheap. Steep ground you'll be going slower and your combi can of fuel has cost you the best part of a tenner. Is it SOD felling so are you going to have to disinfect tools and stuff as well.

Work out your dues per day. what you want per man. what you want on top, then bingo by jingo. Trial and error.

ill second that,,, take into account the size of machine, fuel, cutters, how many people, and how long it will take
