Yep i want to see it, just not had the time or spare money yet.

 

I want to take a few friends with me to show that other people have stammers as well and it is hard work, Im not doing it for amusement!

Sort of film if you hear the story line you think - can't be that good - but this is one terrific film...:biggrin:

 

 

.... unlike black swan which is just a bit weird. :sneaky2:

Saw it a few weeks ago.Fantastic film.Colin firths stammer was spot on and he must have done his research.I reconigsed subtle things only a stammer would do.

 

Having a stammer my self , but been in recovery for 6 years and still battling to control it, the film was a good mind opener for the un educated.A good bit of media to make the public realise how hard it is to speak.Never take the wonderfull gift of communication/ speech for granted.When you cant do it well or at all..you realise how wonderfull it is.

I tried to say somthing like that up there, unfortunatly my typing words failed. again.

 

Its infurtiating though, so much to say and you cant.

Hi pyro,

 

Do you mind me asking wether you have had any speech therapy?

 

I am on the McGuire program, the best one for recovering stammers in my opinion.I am a qualified volunteer for the program and coach.

Really, really good film.

 

When the credits came on at the end, everyone started clapping!

 

Firth and Rush are awesome.

 

Good shout John. My lass was 'dragging' me to see it until I read your post!
