Anyone use the gecko aluminum climbing spikes?

got my set of ali gecko from honney brother got short spikes with mine been climbing on long spikes so felt diffrent at start also got the buckle bottom straps as did not like the idear of the velcro.

they are i think the best spikes out their so comfortable well worth the money. :thumbup:

got told about £50 to change the gafs wit 3 options long,ero and pole and now have founde out at last i can change the velcro boot straps to lether for £35 so will be doing that next week. Even after a knee opp i can spend a day spiking in gecko's whear a morning on the old 1's had me walking like a old man!!

Thanks for all the replys lads! The spikes came today along with the lowering rope etc thanks to Justin, I got home and as I said was worried as all the gecko spikes I'd seen had the long spikes on them so I asked the wife to take the cover off the spike and guess what they were the small spikes haha it was a tense moment can't wait to try them

Haha been too busy to get there mate got home late had a couple of cans then remembered about the box of goodies! I've been trying to explain to my lass about how my other spikes twist and hurt my legs and how good these will be then she ended up in the same position as your little lad the other day, she's gone to bed now:blushing:
