Yeah i seen a couple. Dont know of many ppl who have them. Not entirely sure what the bloke selling it is all about judgeing by his description. Doesnt sound like a pro. The chipper will be a good bit of kit though.

used 1 on powerlines about 6 year ago. 9" i think with a fair few poneys under the hood. good chipper as i remember but only the landy in the fleet could pull it legaly as its a fair old lump.

We used to have one a few years back working on the powerlines, rented from global. You certainly knew it when you were towing it (landy 110) but it just ate timber, definitely earnt its nickname 'the beast'! Might have a photo somewhere.

Have you still got the 190 for sale ? how do they compare ?

 

There is no comparision really, the 240 is another 30% bigger, stronger, tougher but you need something decent to pull it around. Our td5 which is chipped is just about ok. We save it for special occaisions:001_smile:

 

It makes the 190 look lightweight.

 

Yes still got the 190 at the moment.
