What does it weigh empty? it looks about 3 ton the now!!!

 

if its 2+ ton with a tipper on it that would make an awesome 4 X 4 tipper.

no, its 2.5t empty! but i'm ot concerned about running at 4t as it'll never look well loaded or be hanging about so imo barely any risk of getting aught, no worse than a Daily at 3t empty haha . that sa nice tipper but i reckon i'll be making one myself, or buying one off a transit or similar being broken then moddifyingthe back of my chasis slightly. It does get a hell of a lot of looks everywhere, good fun need to hurry up and get some sign writing on there!

I would go for a transit tipper body as you have the space. I had to get mine purpose made as you just dont seem to get small tipper bodies come up. Does it have a plate telling you the max kerb weight. This what vosa will look for.

2200kg front axle 2790kg rear axle, but i think thats form America...although its not in lbs which is odd. Train weight 7490kg!!!

A farmer down the road has one of these with the 6.9 turbo diesel engine, and an artic turntable in the back. He says his is just shy of four ton unloaded.

Don't know about slightly newer, it's D-reg! Think it says 3500. Yes, twin wheels. In very tasteful 'D-reg' brown (think back to the Ford fiestas of the time!) Almost as memorable as M-reg green (Peugeot 106 and Corsas)!
