the money from that job should go towards a beach rolly. to accomodate the balls you had for doing that, it looked like it was going to fit, after doing the bit of trimming, but that could have easily turned those greenhouses into drafty greenhouses!

either way. luck or skill?

It could have gone so wrong :001_smile:

Saved about 3 hours by felling it.

Lime was about 65-70ft, only direction it could be felled was between two greenhouses and a wooden shed, no room at all for error. It ended up with the trunk 1" off the greenhouse on it's way down (bit of luck there) then it rolled a bit on the deck toward the shed.

Anyway, all in the vid, part one is the walk round description, part two the fell and walk round after

Was that down church lane Mirfield ? My mate had some logs off you down there .

Yes,

Ben has had some more today as well and possibly some more tommorow. It's a five day job, dropping 4 big trees and nearly all the shrubs clearing on the property and it's a big property :001_smile:

Just watched this one.

You have set a new benchmark, now Dean!

Top stuff!

I don't know if you are still in touch with Kev Moss, but if you are, ask him about the poplar I felled diagonally through the gate at Driffield showground a few years back!

It was very much in the same vein.
