Hi all,

Thinking of buying a Saw Pod but just wanted to know if anyone uses them at all. Is it alot easier to have it on your Leg than you Harness?!:confused1: Or do you alternate depending on the climb!?

Cheer for any feedback

Tom

i would never clip a silky onto my harness ever again! it's brilliant for groundwork too, like getting rid of awkard branches when chipping. the best £15 you could spend in this industry imo.

Can't get on with them on smaller or denser trees. I find that when I bend my knee the handle of the saw sticks out and catches on just about anything it can. In these trees the bit of extra movement it has hanging off your harness allows it past annoying branches, and a strong magnet taped to the scabbard helps it not to fall out.

Find them really handy on Maccies or open crown trees. Easy access for getting rid of all those little flecky dead twigs that get in the way.

I dont like them. Great idea, great product. I just cant get on with it. Feels un-natural to me. I would prefer a scabbard attached to my back like a Mutant Ninja Turtle. Haha.
