Been out with the college today felling sliver birch there's around 20ton plus and its going up each week.We have been asked to see if any one would like any of it the land owner would like £50 a ton for it Its out by the QVC distribution

center

 

If you like any of it let me know and i can put you in touch with the right person its all fresh and has been cut up in the last 3-4 weeks in 2-3m length Easy access around the site most of the wood is laid up by the path-ways

I would be interested but like Windfall £50 a tonne is not a bargain, I pay £20 a tonne tops, and £36 for Ash and Oak. Let us know if price comes down, and it would be worth the trip

we get rid of timber ringed up (unseasoned) at £80 for about 2-3 ton

Hmmm, we have lorries going to the qvc depot monthly, i wonder if i could organise a return load, be the wrong type of trailer mind. But might be worth investigating.

 

I wont be offering £50 a ton though.

Spoke to the land owner today and as soon as i said.They will pay maybe £35 at a push his replay was Its all been sold already dunno who to so its all off sorry guys
