Well we had our first outing today, got the boy out in the fresh air for 5 hours.

Couldn't find our first one, so went for lunch to fuel up for the rest.

Had a great time sending the boy under tress and benches and spending time with him instead of working.

Felt great I was look out as he went in for the cache, didn't want people seeing what we were doing and finding it and lobbing it somewhere else.

Cheek out the one of the magnetic snail shell, someone must have spent hours making that we nearly missed it until the boy decided to flick it.

I've been Geocaching for a week or so, loving it, my son found his first the other day, was chuffed to bits to be able to swap a crapy toy for another crapy toy - guess thats 3yr olds for you! He also requests I carry his Gruffalo trunki to every one too. He is almost as bad as the wife! Thankfuly this new adventure may make surveying a bit more interesting!

Me and the boys got 2 under our belts today, first was a small box with an old medal and some key rings, i wish i took something to swap. 2nd was a magnetic thing about the size of a bullet. The snail 1 is amazing, good find justin:thumbup1:

Another 8 under our belts today, some of them we had to go and find clues to get the next location for the cache. I'm knackered 6 hours of cold fresh air.

well done mate, we didnt make it out today, Xander wasnt well last night.

I was picking my van up today when i saw a whole family looking all over a site today, it is a nano cache, a magnetic 1, really tiny, i was so tempted to shout over but i didnt, they couldnt find it lol

Came across this little Cache today whilst out & about looking for the fung.

I've got geocaching on my iPhone, but it drains the battery really fast.

 

What gps's does everyone use. Maybe some pros and cons.

 

Also I'm on a mac

Iphone and tomtom Satnav atm,

 

but they are not exactly the best for geocaching. But i get by with them.
