My father stopped at 38 only because a good job came up driving a mulching machine and doing training, he saw it as the way out while he had the chance. It was definitely the worst thing he ever done he is now really overweight and suffers health problems.

 

Thats all the reason I need to keep on climbing!!!:thumbup1:

I agree with Daves (Skyhuck) 'use it or lose it' theory. I'm 43 this year, and a couple of years ago I was still doing all my own climbing, but carrying loads of niggling injuries. Now I don't do enough, and am getting porky.

 

Had a radge in the Levis shop in Eldon Square just before New Year and stormed out when the 34" 501's I tried on looked like spray-on lycra.

 

You can't win!

Your only as old as the woman your feeling.. whether thats good or no i will leave to your imagination! I know a lad steve from preston who is 56 and still climbing. So as long as your still fit and able then up we go...
