I remember one of his mates reckons his ceased up at full speed coming out of Newcastle and the back wheel locked up, he kept driving over to show everyone the black line haha the same lad went through a hedge on one at a bout 80-90 somehow was just bruised up then years later we had his kids on the fells riding about on an old moped, he came off that and broke a leg haha he was gutted.

you disappoint me josh....after seeing the first pic, i was expecting to see a different girl on each bike.

 

incidentally....girl in 1st pic is the best. the one in the last 2 is a bit rough for my liking

josh, my first bike was a tt600,, was a great handler,, once the fuelling was sorted,

 

I'll dig up some more pics,, have a few nice ones,,(yet another previous career)

I agree, it did handle well, but was just too "nice" where as the triple, made me grin just starting her, and despite being a big bike, you could really throw it around, under 100mph it would easily out perform my mates much newer gsx600r, standing starts, rolling starts, and cornering. Round the alps i would have to stop and wait for him to catch up
