Phd would be the highest you can get. Below that would be MSc,BSC,HND.

 

All depends on what you want to do with your life and how much time/energy and money you have to put into education.

I prefer the manual labour side to the studying side tbh!

Quite agree. I don't employ any surveyors without contracting experience.

Degrees have lost their cachet

But I would have thought do a bit of manual with a firm to get experience and then do the academic and you will appreciate it better
