Some one has given me an old robust 12v winch which I will put on my defender not powerful enough for unimog. Any one tell me how to wire it up before I blow my defender electrics. Got the relays clicking but not the motor turning. Had the motor turning 3 months ago but cant remember how.

Yep, sure looks like a Superwinch husky.

I just got hold of a second hand one also- said to have a small electrical problem

I am just about to take it out of the bumper so i can paint the bumper, so if you like i can take some pics of the wiring as it should be, if that helps?

:confused1::confused1: Cor glad I run hydraulic looking at all that electrickery! LOL

On serious note Guys these people here at PG Winches http://www.winchrepairs.co.uk/mambo/index.php Know winches inside out and are excellent at over the phone advice and very quick at supplying parts. Both the guys there worked for superwinch for over 20 years the web site isn't up to much but they are top people.
