Some bloke on this mornings Beeb news wants to de criminalise all drugs

Slow news day, if they haven’t got any news they should just say so instead of trying to spoon feed us this rubbish

Innit. Slow news day = time for cartoons. Have an early finish to the 6pm news and stick Tom and Jerry, or The Pink Panther on for a bit until the next programme.

Note this story comes in the middle of the "winter" season, and in the midst of a very "cold spell" in a year when "sales of log burning stoves have rocketed".

Almost like a power company spreading a little panic and paying for an editoral in a national rag to me.

Perhaps Im cynical:001_rolleyes:

Just read an article in the sun about log burners being dangerous to our health, apparently they release a fine dust which can bring on coughs & increase stress on the cardovascular system. They also believe that this dust can reduce our life expectancy by 10 months. Who comes up with this? Fry ups are now good for us according to the media, one week beer is bad for us, the next week its recommended by top doctors . It wont be long that if we want to live past 25 we musnt eat anything, drink anything, dont drive, smoke, watch telly, walk the dog, sleep, laugh etc,etc

There was an article in the newspaper last week saying that 'being awake' is bad for you.

imagine the fuss they'll cause if they ever find out stoves get hot!:banghead::laugh:

I have some freshly cut beech safety logs which wont get the stove hot but for health and safety reasons they are twice the price of seasoned. On the positive side you could use the paper work to light your next proper fire.
