I voted for Dyson because...

1 We have one and every bloke has the excuse that they have seen them on the TV therefore know what they are.

2 What is a Miele?

3 Your arguing about a hoover, the least manly of all things, well maybe rubbing shoulders with the iron, so for that reason your wife should win.:thumbup1:

The only time i have handled a Dyson was when I lobbed my wifes in a skip.

However, I have never handled a miele (and I had to check how to spell it)

so I'm giving the Dyson my vote :001_tt2:

Look I may have voted for the miele thingy but thats only out of hate for the pointless things dyson make IF and it's a big IF we as arborists should be fighting for any vac then surely it should be the stihl's?

Precisely! :001_rolleyes:

OI weve had one for 10 years or something and it still works.:001_tongue:

Apparently they are designed to pick up dirt of the floor and it does exactly that.

WTFinell else is it supposed to do!:001_rolleyes:

Your only jealous because Mr Dyson is a billionaire, besides his hand drier blade things are boss.:thumbup1:

Funny enough they're not! I remember when the eden project installed these 4 years ago with a big poster saying they were trialling these hand dryers. The poster is still there - I keep meaning to ask them - how long is your bleedin trial for goodness sake? Yes they were one of the first but the XLERATOR is considerably better as it uses less power and the oh so fantastic (not) eyelash width air channel from dyson gets full of muck - both skin from touching and crap drawn into the machine despite the prefilter and then can't get out thru the narrow apperture, the nearer one is always worst give the skin rubbing. Kin shight. Doesn't get every last drip and forces you to rely wholly on it rather some hand rubbing; many obese people need to burn the extra energy involved in rubbing their hands.
