recently found this newspaper from 84,

The tree had dropped a few large boughs one of which nearly hit a car. the council had 2 teams who spent 2 weeks taking the top off said tree. My old man was called in to fell the but. Pulled over with fordson major which is still in use today. But was rolled onto low loader and sold.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
