what about a cheap defender 90 or a discovery?

 

 

No such thing as a cheap Defender- overpriced rubbish.

 

Get a Disco or maybe a Fourtrak if you can find one in good nick. Awesome tow motors. 2.8TD knocks the spots off a 200/300TDI for power and economy.

 

The petrol version (Sportrack) are quite popular motors amongst cutters in my neck of the woods.
