Silver streak burned all the nice fuzz off my blaze in a single descent. Took the hitch off and it was orange on the inside!

Probably just me though. Seems like a good cord overall.

 

Not just you sir. I thought it might be my poor feathering of my leery uncontrolled descents. Doh. :(

im struggling big time, some times i can tie a v.t and it works properly and then sometimes i tie it and it wont grip with out me fidling with it for a long time!!!!

ive got a blaze and using op cord, any help would be greatly appreciated!!

 

thes two combos work for me bud.......and both work on blaze too. i found the ocean polyester not the best on the blaze-this stuff is heaps better.

Just wondering what length of that that is unspliced?

 

140cm but thats with real long tails-you can always cut it shorter but never add it back on!

I always remember front over back when going to tie the legs from the top wraps and will always start with 4 top wraps to 3 leg wraps then tune it from there, as said its best tuned to the rope and hitch you are using, im doing 4-3 or some times 4-4 on scorch and 8 mm roblon and even then its tending slack at 20ft, if using other ropes ill go for 3-2 but it depends on what gear your using and finding the best tuned number of wraps for it.

tied a 5-2 and its worked wickedly, ive gained alot of confidents now since a vt i used to tie slipped all the time and scared me half to death, going to tie a 4-2, i love it now, no more blakes for me, convinced a few other blokes to use it now to!!!:001_tt1:
