What are you burning in your stove this winter 2010

well i was burning nice seasoned evergreen oak, but was finding the temperature a little low, so have changed over to .......

..

..

..

leylandii, YES leylandii, and have to say it is HOT

quite gratefull too as its the coldest snowvember in 17 years

 

 

so have any of you guys and gals changed over from hard to softwood???

or even briquetttes??

 

personally i should mix them, but the nice hot heat is nice:thumbup:

some dead beech, sycamore and elm from a couple years ago burning a treat

well. i felled a standing dead stika spruce last week, split it and straight into shed,,,,,,stika on the bottom of the stove with some beech over the top...roasting
