no tree wants to be pruned. any tree can be pruned

depends how you "prune"? Does it need thinning? reducing? lifting? your plum tree can be pruned but it needs to be done properly (imo) and have you got any images of it? just out of curiosity that is..?:thumbup:

You can NOT prune a Plumb tree as there is no such thing

 

I think he means plum as in prunus not pipe work,

my spelling is crap as well.

thanks for the advice and the links ,sorry about the spelling i was three sshits to the wind when i asked the question,!nabour came round with bottle of wine and we oppened some more and it all went down hill from there
