If you could choose a tractor to suit the majority of situations what would it be ? power ? ability to tow large loads ? small enough to manouvre ? to run pto equipment ? loader or grab ? It would be interesting to hear your own conclusions and which manufacturers you prefer.

I've only ever used Valtras MF and valmets. Prefer the bigger cabs of the valmet and MFs.

Use baby tractor 80-90hp at the moment good manuverability and work well with a lader. In an ideal world a 110-130hp tractor with a crane on the cab would be what i would chose. Would work well with a harvester head, smaller biofuel chippers and still have a good towing capacisty.

We run a JD 6330 which is hired from rowlands. We had one with front linkage since march and just swapped it for one with a front loader. As we need the loader for gritting. It's used for mainly grasswork so has turf tyres. But still gets it turn to get dirty.

Does everything we need and at 120hp it's a powerful machine.
