This could solve rubbish Orange mobile reception issues!

This interests me because many moons ago I used to do surveys for T-Mobile transmitters.

Reception can only be improved.I hope we end up on the continental system where your phone locks on to the strongest signal available from any network.

O2 traditionally had the best coverage, but I feel this is now getting worse, not better. Nowt like resting on your laurels!

Am I missing something?? these two highlighted statements seem contradictory???:confused1:

I activated the service on my phone today (orange), let's see what improvements it makes. It does say in the small print that the service doesn't extend to the mobile broadband though which seems a bit silly...

How did you do it Danny? I tried ringing 150, but couldnt speak to anyone :confused1:

Orange is a pain in the arse to get thru to! i just wanted to make sure there wasn't any hidden billing surprises which there wasn't. if you enable data roaming on your handset it works easier but you MUST remember to disable it before you go abroad other wise you can get charged an arm a7 a leg!

as mentioned the easiest way to enable it is to reply to the txt they send you & do it that way. takes 30 seconds.

I meant reception can only be improved by the Orange/T-Mobile merger Dave.

The O2 getting worse thing is a different issue.

I knew when I typed it it didn't read very well.
